Amongst all the madness and
sadness going on for those dear friends I talked about yesterday, life is actually pretty good for us at the moment. Our move out of Midlevels to the 'burbs has been exactly what we needed, and has given us a level of happiness and satisfaction with the status quo that I haven't felt for a long time.
Fletch and I braved the searing heat this morning and headed off for a walk. The Pok was looking pretty spesh, so I took a few shots to show you my hood.

Opposite our place. Nice.

The local cemetery across the road and a very clean (ahem) footpath.

The school opposite our place.

That's my apartment block there on the left. Stick out much?

Wow - such a different vibe.
So glad you are feeling at 'home' in your new place.
:-) xx
Love it! Jealous!
Wowzers! That is one tall apartment building. I can even see that heat haze in the photos, looks smokin', but so so pretty. It's lovely to feel a part of a place. It took me years to get used to the Eastern Suburbs here... after growing up in the North West, but now, I finally consider it home. It's a nice feeling xo
I just discovered your blog! Loving it! Your new place looks a bit like mine in the new territories, just full of green all around :)
Come take a look at my Hong Kong experience and follow me back if you like.
